Leadership Reimagined
In an effort to revitalize the youth leadership opportunities for Kaufman County this year we are going to
do a six-part series about leadership. As a part of this program, you will be challenged to determine your specific leadership styles and learn how to utilize your style to develop the future you want to create, while providing mentorship to younger 4-H members! As part of the leadership program, you will be provided with specific opportunities to develop your leadership skills in areas that interest you! The skills you will learn this year will go toward leadership project development, and primary leadership opportunities for you in your specific project areas. This series will help you cultivate the leadership skills necessary for being successful not only in 4-H, but in life.
As intermediate and senior 4-H members, we encourage you to attend the revitalized Kaufman County 4-H Council meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. By attending these meetings, you have the opportunity to have your voice heard and help develop 4-H programs of interest for Kaufman County. Your newly elected officers are planning the meetings to make them informative and fun for all members! In addition to being a part of the County Council, we are developing new opportunities for interested youth to serve as a teen or junior leader for specific project areas.
Senior members that go to ALL 6 workshops will receive $150 scholarship to their 4H Congress or Ultra Leadership Camp registration.
Intermediate members that go to ALL 6 Workshops will received $75 scholarship to a 4H summer camp.
