Contest memos for Educational Presentations, Share the Fun, and Fashion Show have been posted on our website http://d44-h.tamu.edu/ under the "District Events" section. Registration for each of these is also open on Connect. Please note the location for these contests is not in the student center this year. We will be utilizing the Ferguson Social Science building's classrooms and auditorium. A map and suggested parking lot is noted in these memos. Prior to those contests, I will send out our usual room assignment charts.

District Storyboard Contest memo online
The District Storyboard contest memo has been posted online. http://d44-h.tamu.edu/district-events/fashion-storyboarding/ Connect registration is up and running as well.
There is a link within the memo to the label that goes on the back of the boards. Please double-check to make sure that the label category matches what is selected on Connect.
Drop off locations are the District Office and the Hopkins County Extension office. Boards will be judged by TWU fashion design students and professors, and displayed at our April 5 district Roundup in Commerce.

Texas 4-H Livestock/Equine Ambassador programs
The Texas 4-H Livestock/Equine Ambassador program strives to provide high school aged 4-H members the opportunity to develop and practice advanced leadership skills related to mentoring other youth, and to become advocates for animal agriculture.
Objectives:
•Prepare youth to serve in leadership capacities in youth livestock/equine programs across Texas.
•Prepare youth for the experience of the University setting, through intensive science based instruction and experiences.
•Prepare and provide opportunities for youth to serve in advocacy roles for animal agriculture, 4-H, and youth livestock/equine programs.
•Develop a heightened awareness of career opportunities in animal agriculture and advocacy.
