Have you ever dreamed of being the president of the United States, the first 4-H'er to walk on the moon, or even the next iron chef? Well think about where all these people started... Where do you think they learned how to talk in front of people or the whole nation even? If you feel that you can do any of this, you should come to the Educational Presentations workshops which will help teach you the skills needed to talk in front of crowds. Sessions will be led by Kaitlyn Pagel, County Council Secretary and State 4-H Roundup "expert". Also assisting is Angel Pagel, and Carrie Sharp, CEA-4-H.
Dates of the workshops are:
#1 - February 11th - 6:30 pm - County Extension Office - Introduction to Educational Presentations and helping select a topice
#2 - February 24th - 2-4 pm - County Extension Office - Bringing the Pieces of the puzzle together.
#3 - March 10th - 2-4 pm - County Extension Office - Putting it all together.
#4 - March 23rd - 9-11 am - County Extension Office - County Roundup Competition
Educational Presentations have a time limit of up to 12 minutes will be allowed for each Educational Presentation. That is not much time when you think how much you talk on the PHONE!!! or text. An additional nine (9) minutes will be provided for on-stage arrangements and cleanup in connection with the presentation.
