Stan Kapp, Vice Chair of the Poor Farm Committee has set Sat. April 27th
as a work day at the Poor Farm. They are in the process of cleaning up
the grounds
and clearing and trimming brush. The weather has blown over trees and
limbs that need to be cleared.
Stan is asking for volunteers to help get this accomplished. He is
planning to schedule work on every Saturday in an effort to have a large
part accomplished
by the May 11th dedication ceremonies. Volunteers should wear work
clothes, heavy shoes, and bring gloves and any landscape equipment you
may have, like chain saws, weed eaters, pruning shears, etc.
Hopefully, some county equipment will be available also.
