32 youth and adults participated in the 8th Annual Working Cow Horse in Athens Texas. Matt McMillian from Sam Houston State University and his Horsemanship Instructor Team did a great job working with the participants.Participants learned how to work a cow, how to use a "flag" to help train their horses to follow a cow and also basic reining maneuvers.
Participants came all across the northeast Texas area from Denton County to Rains down to Houston County.
