Kaufman County 4-H’ers Exhibit at the Fort Worth Junior Heifer Show



Kaufman County Hooves and Horn 4-H Beef Club members did very well the first week of the Fort Worth Livestock Show. Kaufman County 4-H had 13 exhibitors competing in the Fort Worth Livestock Show competing in the Junior Heifer Show.

In the Junior Shorthorn Heifer Show, Hailey Hawes of Crandall placed 1st with her September 2008 Junior Heifer. Justin Jenkins also of Crandall placed 2nd with his July 2008 heifer.

In the Junior Angus Heifer Show, Clarrisa Perez (pictured) of Forney placed 5th with her January Jr Heifer Calf, Bailey Buchanan of Crandall placed 4th with her May 2008 Yearling Heifer, Micah Stahlman of Kaufman placed 10th with her Early Senior Heifer Calf and Hannah Stahlman of Kaufman placed 4th with her Late Senior Heifer Calf.

In the Junior Maine Anjou Heifer show, Brock Rademacher of Mabank placed 5th with his August of 2009 Heifer Calf and Brogan Rademacher placed 10th with her March of 2009 heifer.

In the Junior Polled Hereford Heifer show, Brooke Jones of Wills Point placed 2nd with her January 2009 Heifer and Brooke Adams of Wills Point placed 1st with her yearling Heifer.

In the Junior Hereford Heifer show, Klee Walker of the Terrell, placed 2nd with his March 2009 Heifer Calf and Micheal Hawes (pictured) of Crandall was the Senior Heifer Calf Division Reserve Champion.

In the Junior Charolais Heifer show, Taylor Rademacher from Mabank was 4th with her April Jr Yearling Heifer.
