The goal of the Texas 4-H Veterinary Science camp is to provide experiential learning
opportunities for students participating in the Veterinary Science Certificate Program
(VSCP) where they can learn basic clinical skills for small animal and large animal veterinary
medicine under the direction of a veterinarian. This camp will allow participants to complete
33 of the 78 clinical skills hours required for the VSCP and certification process.
• Cost $125.00
(includes room, meals, materials, and Texas 4-H Roundup registration)
• Limited to the first 20 members
(preferred for members to be in an organized Vet Science Program)
• Sign-up through 4-H CONNECT under 2015 4-H Roundup
(April 13, 2015- May 15, 2015)
• Open to 4-H members 11-18 years old
• Parents can drop their kids off on Monday and pick up on Thursday after contest
• Chaperones and transportation provided for all participants

6:00 –4-H Roundup Assembly and Kick-Off Event @ Penberthy Fields

11:30 am –Lunch
