County Food Show – February 20th!!
Going to have a different
feel to it this year. Bring a family
favorite dish and tell us the inspiration behind making the dish, the steps you
took to prepare, how nutritious it is, and any food safety precautions.
The Family recipes need to
fall into 1 of 4 categories (Appetizer, main dish, side dish or healthy dessert).
You will also get a chance to
showcase a skill you learned in the food and nutrition project area.
Age Divisions will be Clover
Kids, Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors.
There is some really great
podcasts and YouTube videos that do a GREAT job talking about the new changes
to the food show and food challenge this year.
FABLOW AgriLife podcast is a
12 minute show explanation of come of the changes.
Also the State FCH Team has
another resource which is an hour long YouTube BUT in the insert you will find
neat “jump to the topic” time markers.
