Camps, Clinics, Workshops


Rabbit Project Workshop
March 12th – 4-H Extension Office from 12-3 pm.  We will be working on Showmanship, feeding tips for meat pens and we will be helping tattoo 4-H rabbit projects.  If you have been wanting to find out more on how to show your rabbits then here is the clinic to help answer the questions.

 Summer Camp Registration
Summer Camp registration begins March 14! County Camp, Prime Time, Bits, Bots & Bytes and SpecTra - check the http://texas4h-ctr.tamu.edu  for more details on the camp of your choice.

Multi County Camp – July 11-13, 2011
Planning for the Multi County Camp in Lone Star, Texas is once again started.  This year a full three days of fun are centered around the Theme – “Minute to Win It”.  Come have fun with 4-H’ers from 6 other District IV counties.  4-H’ers from 8 in 3rd Grade to 18 have fun at the Lake front camp. Registration is $100.00 for 3 days and 2 nights of fun and activities.  Registration is Due May18th Forms are on the County Website.

M.A.S.H. Camp – June 27-29, 2011
 M.A.S.H. camp is a hands-on learning experience that allows any youth in Texas learn about the medical, safety, and health career fields. During the three day camp, participants will participate in activities with the Texas A&M Athletic Department, Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine College, and the Texas A&M Health Science Center.
M.A.S.H Camp will allow participants to:
• Experience the pace of an Emergency Room
• View current medical research and development being conducted at the TAMU Veterinary School
• Visit Texas Engineering Experiment Services Disaster City and see a world renowned First Responder Training Facility.
• Learn about Sports Training and Nutrition for college athletes.
• and be part of nightly activities promoting healthy living and having fun!
Camp is open to 7th thru 9th grade students
