CONGRATULATIONS TO THE KAUFMAN CO 4-H QUIZ BOWL TEAMS

The Intermediate and Senior Horse and Beef Quiz Bowl teams traveled to TAMU Commerce on Saturday, December 3rd, to compete in the District IV 4-H Quiz Bowl Contests.

Each team answered a series of questions relating to all areas of the beef or horse project during a double elimination competition.  The range of questions include physiology, nutrition, reproduction, basic production information and current events affecting the beef and horse industries. The 4-H Quiz Bowl continues to develop future leaders by engaging them in competition.

The Intermediate Horse Quiz bowl teams was Savannah Baugh, Quentin Gravelle, Juliann Reese, and 
The Senior Horse Quiz Bowl team was Katlin Lumpkin, Megan Gravelle, Cassie Boyd, and Lorna Schneider.  They placed 4th at the District IV 4-H contests.

The Intermediate Beef Quiz Bowl Team was represented by Ricky Gravelle, Cami Sebly, and Dylan Heathcock. They placed 1st in the District competition!!!

The Senior Beef Quiz Bowl Team qualified for State competition in June in Lubbock at the State 4-H Roundup Beef Quiz Bowl.  Senior members are Jacob Long, Chelsea Page, and Dakota Heathcock.
