Council Meeting

 The next 4-H Council Meeting will be held Monday,  Janaury 2nd, 2012,   at the Kaufman County Extension Office at 7 pm.  
2012 Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarship
The 2012 Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarship application, instructions, and examples are now available for download on the Texas 4-H & Youth Development website.

Many changes have been made for the 2012 scholarship process.  Please download and review all applications prior to beginning the scholarship application process.   Visit http://texas4-h.tamu.edu to download all necessary instructions and applications.

Club Communications

Scurry Rosser 4-H club meetings
 The Scurry Rosser 4-H meetings have changed back to the 3rd Monday of the month at 7 pm at the Middle School.  If you have not attended in the last couple of months you have missed out.  Council Officers Kaitlyn Pagel, Jacob Long and Nathan Stibbens have been on hand to help out the club officers get things back rolling.  Parent Leader Association Officer Angela Pagel has been mentoring the parents to “Make the Best…. Better”.

Camps, Clinics, Workshops

District IV 4-H Lock-In January 20 & 21, 2012
Time: The lock –in will run from 7:00 p.m., January 20, 2012 until 6:00 am on Saturday, January 21, 2011.  Youth must be picked up no later than 6:20 am.

Place:  Amazing Jakes at Collin Creek Mall, Plano, TX.

Who: All district IV 4-Hers age 11 and up are invited for a night of workshops and fun!

Cost: The cost will be $32 Youth/Adult (includes workshop materials, unlimited food & games), or Youth/Adult $11 (includes all of the above without games).

Registration on 4-H Connect begins on December 1st, 2011 and runs through January 13th, 2012.
Programs for Youth
The Texas 4-H Conference Center offers a wide variety of  programs throughout the year for youth and youth groups of all ages and interest. Listed below are some of the camps and programs held at the 4-H Center.
